Single ERP Software versus Multiple Software Systems
Your Challenge: Get Decision Makers' Approval for a ERP Software. Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-Bound. A single software system can improve process manufacturing operations. With a single enterprise resource planning (ERP) point of control, this goal is accomplished by eliminating duplicate entry, and by contributing data integrity, detailed drilldown, and more. Sneak Peek: Enterprise Software 2013 » The TEC Blog
HANA, Oracle Exadata, or Microsoft SQL Server 2012 are seen as the help here. I think in-memory databases will be increasingly used for quick response time of analysis, such as in guided selling and on-the-fly recommendations, large-scale simulations, or network-type optimizations. I think that Oracle, IBM DB2, etc. will add in-memory–type capabilities to their traditional relational databases, and the hybrid structure database will be born. The reality is that there will be lots of hybrid type of envir

BMC has long been a strong vendor in the database and system maintenance space, and indicated that they are strongly committed to this area of the market. Cobalt Releases Linux Clustering Software
Cobalt Networks, Inc. becomes the latest vendor to jump on the Linux-cluster bandwagon, but does the software they’re touting really qualify as a cluster?

MICROSOFT OFFICE PROBLEM SOFTWARE: not a cluster. Even Microsoft clusters (until recently considered an oxymoronic term by some) seem to be more cluster-like than this offering. User Recommendations If you do not currently own any of Cobalt s RaQ 3i, and do not plan to buy any, then this product is not for you, and you should go read something else. (Note: StaQware will not run on RaQ 3 and RaQ 2) If you have one (or multiple) Cobalt RaQ 3i s, and need to have a semi-warm backup server with replicated data, then StaQware may fill a need
